Good timming to transfert or buy in your tax free saving account in 2023 limit to $6500.00 and but of course to $81500 if you did not use all the limit in the pass.

The contribution limit for 2023 is an additional $6,500. This means that as of January 1st 2023, anyone over the age of 18 in 2009 will have $88,000 of TFSA contribution room if they've never contributed before!

So lets say that somebody turned 18 today. Do they have $6,500 in space or $88,000 in space? I'm guessing that it's $6,500 but since people are able to choose their sex now, they should be able to choose their age and qualify for $88,000 in room.
