10:00 a.m.
Anybody know what happened at 10:00 a.m.??? There was a big drop across all asset classes BUT especially energy. Why not overnight if this was going to drop? I am no fan of Saudi Arabia BUT it's getting pretty clear that the market is rigged by the big boys and many are from the US I suspect. If I am going to lose money to a rigged system then maybe the system is not worth preserving? I don't know...Just talking out loud.

News out on a new strain of Covid (XBB) that China has been battling since late April. China preparing for 40 million cases a week by the end of May and 65 million a week by end of June.

No. XBB (better known as Arcturus) has been hitting China for the last 6 weeks. So your "News Out" is either 6 weeks old OR you live somewhere remote that does not enable you to get updated news quickly. (I am assuming you are not trying to create FUD with your post) Mas

I didn't say any of the above. That "new" covid strain has been out for 6 weeks as I mentioned in my post.

CNBC is reporting a "snag" in the debt ceiling negotiations. Market influencers are selling their media narrative that there's a crisis brewing and turning on their sell algo's. It's a bunch of trading nonsense because everybody knows that the USA is going to raise its debt ceiling before it defaults on its financial obligations.
