kevin are you spreading more false information. i know people that make the trip from vancouver to calgary on a regular basis, summer and winter time. it is not a problem anymore plenty of fast charge stations along they way could even go coast to coast. EV,s are available in AWD if you are scared of winter driving. most have over 400km range, (battery technology is getting better all the time

So, a battery heater would certainly be able to dynamically keep the battery at the optimum temperature for discharging at the current rate required based on the demand at the moment.
