Game Over

Canadian oil and gas is finished. And I believe I know where the blame lies. Canadian oil and gas CEO'S are squarely to blame for they have maximized output at the cost of increasing share base at crappy valuations. It's a trifecta of incompetence that continues unabated, including the guy at Baytex and especially whitecap. Stop buying back your crappy shares amd pay back debt asap. Also start consolidating in strategic mergers, not acquisitions. The bigger, leaner, and relatively debt free companies will strive, the rest will implode. A lot people don't like Eric nuttal but if CEO'S had listened to his message of giving back to shareholders a meaner and leaner company these oil and gas companies would rocking right now. What a shame.

Eric was fine with the Baytex and Crescent Point acquisitions, he keeps making them top picks..

Eric Nuttall's portfolio is in ruins.  Basically every pick he's yapped about has been flushed down the toilet except for MEG.  Even CVE has turned out to be a disaster and that was his top integrated pick.  Everything that guy touches blows up.  BTE and TVE more than anything.

His ATH is doing fabulously. Top oil stock in Canada  two years in a row so he has a lot of credibility. Basically rode it from 18 cents to now. Made me a wealthy man so I thank him profusely.

How about those 48 million shares of Ath seems like he crushed that... tve and bte definitely been his losers. All though I don't beleive he is under water on them yet.

Sooner of later ceo need to make moves in order to keep producing or maintain production , so other companies that look fine now and seem great will need to get more assets thus borrow or get more shares , Enbridge , Altagaz and many in the past did big purchases or bought other companies , took them years sometimes to comeback ....so rather than feel bad just wait and buy more they will all ...more
