I disagree with this one-sided view of Tergesen. Yes, he has some short comings when it comes to managing expectations and I am not sure if he really should be the CEO as he seems to really be more of a scientist/product guy. However, under his reign the Merit JV was created and it became reality almost as fast as it was scheduled - during a pandemic.
I guess major shareholders simply look at what Burcon has accomplished during the past 2-3 years, and it's not nothing. Personally, I would have liked more speed, but I guess that simply is not Burcon's DNA.
agreed - and i can add that Tergesen is actually not the man (or Burcon the party) being responsible for progress - this is MERIT and their efforts/ success in marketing/ selling/ producing
Well said
the ACTOR is MERIT
Burcon is an actor in additional jv/coops besides Merit
perhaps Clarisoy with Nestle in Asia
perhaps.....
