Might be a tough sell though, as it's typical for alternative pea-based food products in Europe to emphasis that the peas are from the European union, due to sustainability aspects. But on the other hand, there is no commercially produced canola protein from Europe (considering that being the only one in this field is one of Merit's USP), and maybe their pea protein is so much better than what's available from Europe, that some companies still go for it.

But provided that Merit would see lots of interest in Europe, it wouldn't be crazy to think that Merit might even consider establishing a European plant, too.
