Cameco reports $40M Q1 profit, revenue up 37 per cent

Cameco Corp. reported a first-quarter profit of $40 million compared with a loss of $5 million a year ago as its revenue rose 37 per cent compared with a year ago, helped by higher prices.Revenue totalled $398 million, up from $290 million in the first three months of 2021.

In an update to its outlook, Cameco says it now expects its consolidated revenue to be between $1.73 billion and $1.88 billion for the year, up from its earlier guidance for between $1.5 billion and $1.65 billion.

I thought they had great revenue , the stock is down quite a bit. Is it because the market tanked, or another reason? Thanks, The Khyber
