Online ticket sales?

I'm not sure how many tickets are purchased online these days as opposed to at the movie theater, but I've been checking the online sales so far for this weekend at some places in Ontario, and there are still many shows with 0 seats occupied, so that's a head-scratcher.

CGX now has mini-Disneylands, called the Rec Room, where you can have a nice meal and play  games like in the old arcades, so they don't depend so much on movies like in the past

I'm not vaccinated but I wear a mask and glasses eveyrwhere I go, smoke a cigarette before leaving the house and so far it's working, knock on wood

Delta is never going away.. covid will be around forever now. It will be just like the flu. We are approaching herd immunity numbers.. if you are too afraid now then you might as well just hide in a box forever, life moves on. The main point of being vaccinated is to avoid going to the hospital, getting mild covid will be a normal thing. Just look in the UK massive uptick in cases but barely and

I think that you better get a second opinion on your stats source. Hospitalisations are way up in the UK as well as deaths.

A movie is not a concert. We buy our tickets a half day in advance at most.

Your right and on the news this morning there was a call in where they asked the question what people are looking forward to and the majority are looking forward to a movie followed by eatin restaurant. :)
