Bag Holder Defined

Bag Holder Defined

Reading the most recent post, you have to wonder what motivation a person has to post such things.

There has to be something in it for them. Mass selling and panick means price goes down. What a sweet price they will now be able to buy this stock at. And the exdividend date is next week.

calling us all bag holders,.. well I had to look it up
Remember do not panick, Chemtrade will go back up,... and for goodness sake do not sell at a loss,.. hold it and collect your dividend. This site should be for knowledgeable information. None of know exactly what is going to happen with any one stock, just know that panick selling may not be the best choice
A bag holder is slang for an investor who holds onto poorly-performing investments, hoping they will rebound when chances are that they will not. There are psychological motivations behind bag-holding behavior: namely, investors tend to fixate on remedying losses, more than they focus on realizing gains.
