For the record Sclarda2...

I began posting on this Chemtrade SH board around 2018 when the unit price was around $18 and the Trust paid a 10 cent a month distribution. I soon began to realize that the 10 cent a month distribution was no longer sustainable after the Canexus deal and said so many times on this board.
I have never own a unit of equity in Chemtrade, nor do I ever plan on doing so as the Trust clearly overpays it's executive team.

"The trust clearly overpays its executive team."  LOL.  You must have an awfully small pool of companies to invest in that meet your criterion of appropriate compensation!  I'd like to hear.  I routinely vote against their packages with my proxy.

Kherson Thank you for the clarification, which still begs the question: why do you bother posting here? I am not implying that there is anything wrong with your posts- on the contrary, the ones I read were well thoughr out.- that's the reason for my asking it. Or, do you have an academic interest, or perhaps in lecturing cite CHE as a poor business case  example governed by trustees ...more

Sorry,.. should say exactly what is his purpose?

My initial interest in Chemtrade was when they took over Canexus at what I felt and still feel was an inflated price. Shortly thereafter, the CEO gets a 5 year Long Term Incentive Bonus in which he actually collects almost all of it, even though the unit price tanks and the distribution is cut in half.  The Incentive Bonus I believe turned out to be a big mistake on the part of the Trustees ...more

Hey KHERSON__Recall that WE Discussed SAFETY issues Some Time ago__This is  NO Different. The AIF included the CONTRACTORs__Whereas the MIC referred to ONLY the actual Chemtrade employees. The Level or Lack of Safety TRAINING by Individual CONTRACTORS can NOT BE Assured to BE at the SAME LEVELS Chemtrade Management have SET and ARE Responsible for.

Sounds like some of the information circulars had CtatsCan employees as ghostwriters, as well as staffers from the PM office..Distressing. BUT STILL KHERSON, WHAT MOTVATES YOU TO DO IT, SINCE YOU CLAIM TO HAVE NO FINANCIAL INVOLVEMENT IN CHE? I AM  MISSING THE ANSWER TO MY ORIGINAL QUESTION. Respecting CHE's  standing years ago, two (above average)brokerages recommended Chemtrade, to ...more

As I have said on many occassions, I have no financial involvement in Chemtrade. What motivates my continued interest in Chemtrade is the positive spin that different groups put on the Trust simply because they have a vested interest in it! A prime example are brokers whose houses are the one's selling new equity on Chemtrade's behalf. I also firmly believe that the executive team are way ...more

Hey Kherson__WHY do You NEVER Tell all of us the REAL REASON eh !!!

Red, if you feel that you know a reason other than what I have listed for posting on this SH board, now is the time to enlighten our fellow SH readers!  Thanks in advance. Kherson

Good question. Actually there is a lot wrong with a lot of his posts on different boards. He was on the SGY board for years talking about a buyout that was going to happen any day for years on end which never came. Everyday he would talk about how the shareprice was being manipulated for the buyout which never came.He even knew that it was Headwater Exploration that would make a buyout bid that ...more

Kherson is most knowledgeable person on this board. Nobody wants to know truth about this company. This income fund was in $20 before managment  start to destroy it with questionable purchase, bonuses for themselves, cutting distribution and ingnoring vote SAY _ on_PAY.

Kherplunk is a Schmuck just like you. Nobody cares what happened 20 years and several management teams ago. CHE was likely never worth $20 where people like you and him were buying. The 10 cent distribution was also  to high. Nortel was a $120 stock 25 years or so ago. They went to 0 along with many other stocks. Thats how the market works. Some companies do very well and some go broke. Its ...more
