"- they are given a certain amount of planes to fly for the AC routes, I understand this number has been renegotiated recently. But they state that if jazz wants to go out and get more work with other airlines, AC has the right to reduce the numbers of planes covered under the CPA on a one for one basis. So if they were to go and get a contract that would keep another 5 planes busy working for another company, AC could reduce the amount of planes they let jazz fly for them by 5."
In all fairness CHR.B does have a CPA contract in place until 2020, that is there business now. Management needs to have a plan (like Pluna may have been) to try ween itself of AC before 2020.
However that is a long way off and a LOT of things could change by then. Heck AC could go bankrupt again and CHR may have to pick up the pieces and replace them. Who knows :)
