cityjet's return of 2 crj900sI noticed recent news indicated CityJet returned 2 CRJ900s to CAC.
Were there any other insolvent companies going under protection that CAC was leasing planes to besides CityJet and Virgin Australia? Just want to determine how much immediate counterparty risk there is for the leasing side of the business.
If anyone is familiar with airplane leasing and bankruptcy protection, does it protect the lessee from all claims from the lessor or will CAC get something out of it to help them offset lack of output during the time it takes to remarket the planes?
