Only problem is that Chorus is no longer airline company but leasing/ maintenance company. The biggest contact with Air Canada for $ 400 000 over 10 years was terminated during the covid time. The remaining airline business is just for decoration to distribute the big boys " crumbs " over the Canada to a little shitholes.

Well I am not a lawyer or contractor expert. All I know is when Air Canada got into financial mess during the pandemic part of restructuring plan as a savings was termination of the contract with Chorus. Air Canada stated that it will save them 400 00 over 10 years. They still do business together but " sweet " deals is gone.

You mean like this Air Canada makes Jazz the sole operator of Air Canada Express flights

Yes, meaning now they have to " work " for their money. Nothing is guaranteed under contract. So if plane is not full Chorus takes the hit. My guess. That's the reason AC got out of that agreement. Simply the deal was to sweep for Chorus.
