Oil down 2%, Cdn Oil Stock Up 1%As I said a week ago, valuations are compelling and that's all we need to know.
No point following who's buying and who's shorting. Nobody needs to buy to "support" the price.
The stock's price is supported by its fundamentals and live market NAV. If a company wants to take care of its stock price all it has to do is take care of its operating business, long term. And its balance sheet.

True. But what if oil doesn't hold $50?
Ans. You hedge with HOD
Incidentally because the stocks were undervalues, they are rallying now alongside a rally in HOD.

If you weren't I wouldn't be reading your messages. There is validity in what you write even when it doesn't pan out so any open minded person should consider all valid opinions out there before making investment and trading decisions.
For the record,
- I still think oil goes into the $40's soon.
- "scarlda" I have had on ignore for a long time so can't read his messages but saw you recently replying to him and accusing him of being me :)
