Blows me mind how people will say meh 4 is acceptable, 5 would be adequate ?

But then if Cardinal actually followed through with it they'd have their tiki torches and white pointy masks out for a hoe down !

Don't give management any ideas that they can walk all over you, or that you don't have the cojones to stickup for what you were promised. No one have a spine anymore ? Yeeesh !

Anywyas of note, how quick companies are paying out their fancy new dividend ! No beating around the bush let's get that money coming ASAP !

Pinecliff : The first monthly dividend is payable June 30, 2022, to shareholders of record on June 15, 2022.

Gear: Gear's board of directors has approved the initiation of a quarterly variable cash dividend program with an initial dividend of $0.01 per common share. The dividend will be paid on May 30, 2022 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on May 16, 2022.

So don't be a Poly Anna and anounce like your some kind of super hero on the bullboards that you are ok with not getting it until September or something stupid. Oy vey !

I fully agree with this statement.

I would not be impressed if they did not deliver what they said they would, especially after they presented the target scenarios for plans and payout.

If they do not deliver there are other ways to show your discontentment outside of whining and protesting with pitchforks. You can pull your investment, decline to add to your investment, vote against proposals/management, you don't need to be overly dramatic and loud to make a point or take a stance.

I personally don't think there will be an issue with management here, but should they underdeliver on thier plan they should be held responsible as they are working for you.

Let's keep in mind thier guidances are pretty safe, they are talking about paying out 50% of current FCF with the other 50% going to debt reduction, should oil dip below original guidance they payout would still be safe for a long period, it would just mean the debt free achievement might be dragged out longer than the 6-9 months that it currently looks like in the outlook. Coming in soft in the current environment would be like putting on a life jacket to walk down the street, as long as they don't try to get dangerously heavy with a forward outlooking payout there should be no problems.

Again I have faith that all these discussions are moot, management has served us pretty well in the past holding payouts where they could as long as the could, I see no reasons to predict they would let us down now.
