Halts Output at Three Gulf of Mexico Platforms


Shell, the leading operator in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, said Mars, Ursa, and Olympus platforms have been shut-in. The three are designed to produce up to 410,000 barrels of oil per day combined,

Equinor has also shut in its Titan oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico following the Thursday pipeline leak

Only 4 barrels leaked, repairs made, back in production today. Oil responding.
