He's giving TVE a pass on the deal . Since he's now the second largest shareholder instead of the largest does he really have a choice ? Eric is losing credibility by the day .

He's been beating the drum on companies paying off debt , returning money to shareholders thru dividends and buybacks , having no hedges . TVE is paying a small dividend and doing the opposite of what he's been preaching on everything else .

CJ is paying off debt , pays one of the best dividends , buying back shares and has no hedges yet he sold his CJ shares because he wasn't happy with another 65 % gain .

I have followed Eric in the past and it doesn't take long to see he pumps and dumps his holdings.  He also tends to cycle back into positions he had before.  I remember early days when he talked up CPG and then dropped it.  I think he did it twice now.  I stopped caring. He might come back to CJ, who knows.

I agree I have watched Eric for a long time as well, people need to understand his motivations are not inline with most independant retail investors and therefore stock holdings he recommends must be taken in that context ,also doing your own DD as with any personal investment decisions. One thing I notice is he avoids taking questions on market call that he is in the process of selling out his ...more
