Shorts are part of the market.  I wonder if management views shorts as a hindrance as they would pay a lot of dividends monthly?  Obviosly from the chart the shorts do not entirely clear out and reset every month.  As long as the share price remains range bound and investors are just collecting divies it seems to me that the shorters are actually helping to pay for the SAGD projects
