Bill C-18 - pay for NewsGovernment was fairly stern with Meta in hearings and does really sound and feel like they will get the legislation through this time.
as Corus' Global is one of the larger news outlets in the country, i would expect they could see a healthy infusion. Corus seems to have the approach though that they shouldn't discuss it's impacts as it might jinx the outcome, but it strikes me as something close enough now that any material impacts could be fair info to discuss. It could have the effect of offsetting the hit to margins caused in part by the CPE expenditures.
