RE:Shares Repurchased for October?I'm not sure if Canadian insider is second or third hand data. You can find data at the source sedi www.sedi.ca or it's easier to follow at ceo.ca. You have to toggle back and forth between cjr and cjrb(not cjr.b) to get the true picture. They filed on November 3 for all the transactions for October. I believe they foolishly stopped the buyback october 21 to focus on debt paydown

Nevertheless, extremely bullish if Corus is able to repurchase shares at these extremely low prices in 2 dollar range and continuance of dividend at .06 per quarter. Management team has been very prudent on their financials guidance. My only concern at this point is debt does not grow or able to continue to make repayment or lower it as have been for years past. I know the three biggies are debt repayment, share repurchase and company divident as this relates to strenght of company. The debt repayment is also intertwined with total interest paid out for the year. There all related on strategies of company going forward. Overall, If the debt becomes lower Corus will fly.
