What Is Wrong Wtih This Picture?

Company posts great Q4 results, the stock gets several  upgrades by  analysts and yet the stock is down over 4% since the results were announced. Can someone please explain?

Reading over the results, investor presentations, as well as bank recommendations, there is a solid reason to believe that this will pay off. In the short run, it will be turbulent. It does pay a decent dividend in the meantime. All their strategic initiatives should continue to bear fruit, which hopefully will be evident in subsequent quarterly results. Moreover each quarter their debt levels

Thanks. I own a fair amount of shares and have been accumulating shares during the latest downdraft in fact I purchased some shares after the earnings release. I have a lot faith in the management of the company. Nice to hear that there are other investors that share my view of the company.

When you invest you should always keep your time horizon in mind. Are you day trading or investing? Your answer should guide your buyinh or selling action. If you are investing you have a nice divisend while you wait. As for the price drop some short sellers might believe that the company will not be able to sustain the recent growth and performance so they are betting against the company by

Thanks for your reply. I am a long term investor. Agree that the dividend is attractive especially at the current stock price. I am dripping the dividend.

Thanks for your comments JJMA and Yassine. Seeing the price fall does test our fortitude.  However, the narrative from the analysts and from the company itself, does suggest that better days are ahead, given everything they are doing to fortify, widen and build their businesses. Meanwhile the dividend is a good one, supported amply by a significant free cash flow. I have been a share holder

Patience and market has been somewhat choppy this last week.  A good opportunity to buy more!

Nothing wrong with "the picture". I recently moved some of my funds from energy to corus and it sure is nice to have a piece of something with stable if unspectacular earnings and a decent dividend. It still a lot closer to the 52w high than low, but seems like a safe steady long term investment. Sorry flippers, I don't see this one trading like an oil or pot stock. It would tuck
