Cline I am cautious of Cline, however looking at the historical spot pricing for coking coal, it has been strong since 2007 and yes there has been a drop in demand. So, if Cline can provide some news on production and contract status the stock price should trend up. Just a bad time all around. I did look at the credentials of Cline, and as the saying goes, this is not their first rodeo.
I plan on cold calling a couple of realtors in Trinidad CO and ask them if folks are moving into the area and work for Cline. Also might call the local paper and ask them what they think of Cline. If there was news of employment up or down they might know something. Any economic spin-off from Cline would be welcome news to the folks in Colorado.
This could be a good asset, and management seems capable. It just seems odd that management has been silent on the contract status for soooo long and it would look better if management was out buying their own stock. they received options @ $1.53 so a buck and change would seem to be a steal.....
I will be going at the AGM in Toronto, when it's announced. I also went back to October 2011 and read the Stockhouse postings, sound just like today!
