They're probably at an impasse with BC and getting close to a statute of limitations deadline.  I understand your concern, but at this point it is probably a formality, with no chance of a trial for some time.  I'm guessing that they just filed with the same documentation they used to justify their claims to BC.  They do deserve compensation for the expropriations.

BC has a history of being involved with taking development properties.  Windy Craggy of Geddes Resources in 1993 (with plenty of help from the US and Al Gore)--$50m spent, $104m conpensation.  Blizzard of Boss Power--$4.5m spent, $30m compensation, 10.5m #'s of Uranium in historical reserves.
