Cline basically needs a White Knight to defeat the Marret Plan....going to happen is anyones guess at this point! It all depends on how favorable the met. coal market is going forward in terms of pricing, and type of met. coal produced.
There is no way Bates should be thinking he can still do this alone....if this were the case, we would not be in this mess in the first place. Definitely Cline needs a partner or an all out sale of the company including other two assets (gold/iron ore..if they are worth anything to anyone) to get the max. shareholder return including for Bates himself. It would be wise for him to take a reasonable offer and retire IMO!!!
