RE:RE:correction
Steeler, you can't expect Cline to comment on such a sensitive matter as to what Marret's intentions are. As for Stone coming back, this could only be possible if the company ownership will change given the "bad blood" between Stone and the current Board which I assume took place with Stone's "resignation"( read dismissal). The only chance for Stone to come back is, I presume, based on the article of the Mine Web, is if the former CEO of Xstrata and the consortium he is affiliated with, buy out the company, in which case the current crew is on the way out. And that is why I suspect the "sale" rumor could be credible. What makes the sale rumor credible is the fact that Stone is planning of coming back, but I would not think he would under the current board. But again I may be wrong, but my strong belief is that if Stone is coming back the company either is already sold or is going to be. If you go back to the Mine Web article you'll notice that Davis, the ex CEO of Xstrata is looking for an undervalued mine or co in a safe juristiction and to be relative diversified in order for him to repeat the experience with Xstrata. He took a small company and he turned it into an international giant. We can only hope he sees this opportunity with Cline, hence the rumor about Stone...
