NO I'm betting COAL will have better growth than GOLD short term 6-12 mthsThis is COAL season with Japan/China you name it they want it is cheapCoal is recession proven to surviveit will again even stronger,just watchdo own DDRichard

"Coal is recession proven to survive"History certainly does not support your assertion. If the world economy tanks, met coal producers will be very vulnerable.The only glimmer of hope is that corporations are cash rich and willing to consolidate resources that have long term strategic value.

Agree, may be relevant for thermal coal - used for utilities etc., but not for met coal.
