Production down, debt keeps rising and no money for buybacks. Wouldn't surprise me to see this go back down to 1.5 or so. 10% dividend does nothing when you account for share depriciation. The best thing for shareholders is if this get taken out but good luck.

Share count has continued down (about 2.8% in qtr) and we do get a generous div at current sp but you're right, net debt has increased and share price depreciation has not been compensated for over time. They repaid $2.9MM oper loan and have to pay $23MM bridge loan before year end I believe and with $92MM cash and free cash flow, and E&P major expense they should not need more debt or

Listened to the CC, really weak explanation regarding the proposed 5 to 1 share consolidation from the CFO, no mention of the adjustment of the divy post consolidation. CNE really needs new leadership after 10 years of no share appreciation. The BOD Chairman is a rubber stamp corporate clown from Calgary whom has watched most of the companies he has chaired have been reduced to oblivion. Time for

No share appreciation, it has been nothing but capital destruction!!!! Have to think the current action is a bit of tax loss selling but agree and, truly, until Medellin there is no likelihood of improving financial performance so why not get tax advantage for now even if egregious capital losses.

If shares will be ~ $10 on 5:1 consolidation then this may bring some margin traders in. Yes, more speculation but also more life on daily basis …..this can be positive. Still, at this stage CNE should be paying depth, expand resources and grow production instead of dividends; IMHO.   G37

I cannot see anything positive in more speculation ! Today, again tree shaking. It's not shorters, because it would be too expensive for them (shorts have to pay for divys). It's people who are selling and buying lower. At one time, they could get control of the co for peanuts
