AGM

AGMI attended the AGM yesterday. Attendance was good at around 125 people oveflowing the seating. The usual business for the board of directors & such was uneventful. The presentation was short and sweet...strong pipeline and working on some significant potential contracts with the likes of Acambis & the CDC. Working with Acambis for some overseas joint contracts. JL did all the speaking with a good slide show while Barry Sherman sat in the front row. Pretty much all the questions were about the products & their indications. When given the chance to ask the final question, I asked about "when & if Apotex might divest some of their stake to improve liquidity and institutional interest in the stock". JL smiled and said that only Apotex could answer that so I quickly responded "Could Dr. Sherman comment on this issue". I got your basic "no comment" reply. BTW there was a brief TA article on the Globe Investor website yesterday and today about CNJ on the main page titled "Patience will be rewarded". The author thinks the stock is in a bullish ascending triangle and when it breaks $13, it should be on it's way to $15.50 within 6 months. "Longer term the pennant suggest a target of $17.50". Cheers!!!
