RE:RE:RE:Countdown is onBoth deals are rather good for KCS, The CN deal has more short term upside, but long term those shareholders will do well with either company if the takeout goes forward.

I think the deal is more about CN/CP being able to grow their operations effectively. If CP loses there are other targets that might become available to them on either half of the states apparently according to on analyst I heard earlier in the week. If CN loses, the opportunities CP has might not be as open to CN because of the penetration they already have to the Gulf, they may have to make smaller minor strategic moves to grow. CN has the most riding on this situation by the sounds of it.
