perhaps seymour is the type who knows how to handle Williams

perhaps seymour is the type who knows how to handle WilliamsI read a book called "getting to yes"...It said in negotiation, don't say " I won't" but always say "I am willing to ...." It also suggested a trick in negotiation of "..give the other party something first followed by asking something.." and the other party will probably do something in reciprocal and you continue in reciprocal... This reciprocal will make negotiation progress... So now Seymour came up saying he is willing to negotiate giving Williams something followed by asking for warrants or sweetening the offer... Williams will now need to reciprocate ie find something to give to Seymour and get the arguments of what things he want.. ..Seymour is wise and tactful and I believe can be political.. He also slipped the news to media and he explicitly mentioned "...SU has not returned his call on the matter..." which now put the pressure on Williams.. Well, my feeling all along is COS CEO and Chairman and Williams have the wrong chemistry and style for the other party ...Williams is an ego guy and Seymour method of handling Williams maybe is the best style...Besides, Williams fear-mongering style threatening to withdraw SU offer if don't get 2/3 votes will only make the "little" shareholders sweat but certainly the billionaire is fear-not on this aspect..
