Support around $8.50-9, bouncing off. Resistance around $11, seems to be heading that way. Once it hits $11, we'll have to see. Chart shows a good trade for now.

Hopefully the latest acquisition is positive come Thursday and Friday.  As long as management cools their heels and stops buying more companies. Let the production level out and stick to some form of plan.  They did not buy at a particularly good time interest rate wise, but that may turn out not to be a bad decision as everything is continually changing.  Debt does have to come ...more

The ceo did say they are done with acquisitions after the hammerhead deal and are happy with the assets they have now with that said I can see the next few quarters be big pay down debt quarters if oil can stay here

Y'a well hope what they say is true about acquisitions , but we don't change the spot on a leopard , I also said many time after my last drink I will stop but hey .... didn't happen for a while but I did finally stop drinking .....last ceo said we would never cut the dividend .... and they did , but for now they have their belly full but once the debt get really low like 3 years from ...more

I seem to recall hearing management say this after every acquisition going back ten years.  The last time I think was in follow-up to the acquisition of the Shell assets. I put very little trust in anything they have to say in relation to purchasing assets.

Anshutz , you sound a little disappointed! Don't worry I agree. Here we go again that we have to focus on paying down debt for the next few years. The difference this time is that we have lengthened our reserves , the company is also paying somewhat of a descent dividend and producing over 200,000 boe's per day can get this company making money right quick if the price of oil goes up. Their last purchase was the icing on the cake IMO.. they didn't have the drilling depth that they have now.. not to mention the infrastucture already in place to ramp up to 50,000 brls/day in that area.. that's a huge benefit to not have to build those facilities and just drill away.. that speeds up the process with years of capacity before capex is needed for expansion.. and even at that, ...more
