Here ‘s the rub
The Biden administration has very few friends left in the petroleum sector. Both Venezuela and Iran will most likely need to be re-sanctioned by the USA . Meanwhile Russia remains sanctioned and the Saudis are definetly not very amused these days. To make matters worse the SPR has been decimated and Canada will soon have the option to move surplus oil offshore via the TMPL
What to do? Well perhaps cajoling American producers to step up drilling in the Permian . Only one slight problem Associated gas . Where will that go if LNG projects are cancelled ??
If the Americans are really so tied in knots that they are relying on Canada run by the Liberals to help them out of their mess, then yes please bring it on !!
