RE:Propofol sedation was associated with longer recovery times I spoke with one of the clinics serviced by CRH Medical. A endoscopy center. They are very familiar with CRH and said their business is solid and growing. Also, they said there is no end to colonoscopies in sight and although there are other tests, they said you're still going to need a colonoscopy! And BTW...another study on Propofol in 2013 said.. "Conclusion The results of this study indicate that the use of propofol as a sole sedative resulted in less patient time in the endoscopy unit, quicker recovery, and faster discharge from the endoscopy unit than did regimens using either balanced or conscious sedation. Propofol as a sole agent in endoscopic sedation resulted in greater patient satisfaction, less pain and awareness during the procedure, and increased awareness at the end of the procedure compared with the other anesthetic techniques." This study appears valid too, yes?....https://www.aana.com/newsandjournal/Documents/prop-combo-midaz-fent-endo-0213-p31-36.pdf
