companies don't just "delay" earnings because they are bad. Q2 ended June 30th - it's not extraordinarily late. that being said, earnings will be dismal. they are dismal in almost every industry.

i have to ask - you're very pessimistic on the stock, so why do you both trading it? it's not very liquid (some days) and it's highly volatile, which I suppose can be a good thing for trading sometimes. CRH is really a small cap buy and hold type of investment? you either believe the story or you don't?

with the restructuring of management it is very clear they are building this company to grow it and sell it - I would hate to wake up one day and see the company sold during a period you weren't invested. food for thought.
