RE:RE:Merry Xmas Investors! :(CRH provides similar operational/administratives services as United Digestive, but this is UD's entire business model. I don't think UD is out there competing for the Anesthesia service business of GI practices.
This is why I am not overly concerned about CRH losing the UD contract - the other joint ventures CRH has in place are with much smaller GI groups.
UD doesn't need CRH to provide them with the operational/administratives services typical of a smaller GI practice. I am curious where they brought the Anesthesia to, though, because as far as I know there aren't any other large public companies doing what CRH does.
This is a big setback, but the company can and will replace this lost Revenue. Best case, they end up keeping the contract.
I don't think this sets a precedent for non-renewals of other JVs that CRH has entered into.
