RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Surprised!!!It is safe to say that no one is getting any younger, but they are living longer. Improvements in 'self-care' have made it easier for people to live in their own homes but let's face it, no one wants to take in the surviving parent when one dies. And the oldies know this. So, selling the house and moving into an up market rteirement fascility makes sense. Heck, there may even be enough left over to leave something for the kids who weren't prepared to give you a home, as they would have done 30 years ago. That's the way a lot of retired people are looking at it. So, retirement homes are here to stay and Chartwell and a couple of others are top of the list. No worries here, but a good entry/add on time IMO.
