BNN on CDN Small Cap Stocks

Someone on BNN just said that alot of Cdn Small Cap stocks have been beaten down to record low prices for no apparaent reason, i.e. no bad press releases and business doing well, and some are being bought out now at 70-80% premiums after due diligence is done. Investors are not worried about short term turmoil but are investing long term.

What caught my attention was that the premiums being paid for takeovers was 70 to  80% over current stock price valuations in some cases.
