Some things to consider;

1. NATO is for sale.
2. As a “turnkey” operation that is expandable and ideally situated (access to both CP and CN) I would think that it would be very attractive asset for several companies.
3. I suspect that the reason that the “un-named” shipper bailed out and Canexus hasn’t been able to contract more capacity is because it is not known at this time who will own and operate NATO.
4. It is Canexus’s management’s responsibility to their shareholders to realise as much as possible for NATO.
5. It is the managements of the potential acquirer’s responsibility to their shareholders to acquire NATO at the lowest cost possible.

My conclusion is that it will take a while but ultimately NATO will be sold for a fair price and the CUS shareholders that are patient will be rewarded.

Although I already have what I consider a full position in CUS (ACB $4.75) I am considering adding a bit at the current prices.
