Seems to me the bank debt can be paid off pronto, the current conv debs are already covered so why the rush to give the co. away. 2/3 approval needed, this is not a sweet deal at $1.70.

I totally agree with you for once Phoenix! If the cash profit is as great as the company states it is, why is Doug giving the company away? On top of that, why is the Pumper with many aliases pumping the deal so had on both SH boards? Those of you who are shareholders are getting screwed over by the management team at Canexus. The real problem here is the management team! Kherson

To be clear, this is NOT a sweet deal.   A company with this kind of cash flow, even with the debt situation, would be a compelling investment for anyone with deep pockets.  Even a pension fund would normally be interested here at this decent rate of return.    The problem is, the management of this comPany is SO terrible that it can only be taken over by a team that has ...more
