The only reason this didn't close

Kherson, you moron.  The only reason this didn't close was due to the protectionist policies of the FTC and the US government.  Cormack or anyone else couldn't believe that they would take this stand.  Get a life you litttle troll, go outside and get some sun on your face and leave your little Kherson world of hate and vitriol.

The so called Moron was the only one who called this failed merger correctly. Then again, the Moron wasn't being paid by Canexus to post, so his view of the situation was clear! If you are correct Noble in your assessment on why the merger did not close, as I believe that you are wrong, then why is Doug demanding the $25 million termination fee from Superior? I have said for about 6 months ...more

Well, at this point I can only give you 25 million reasons why Doug is going after the breakup fee.  I'm sure in the Kherson good management world,he would pass on the possible $25 million.  By the way, I guess I am a paid poster as I am a Canexus retiree.  The company (chemicals division) has always made money in the 36 years I was with them and aside from the Bruderheim fiasco ...more

But the problems with Canexus go deeper than that. The BOD should have pulled the plug on that misadventure long before they did and more importantly immediately gotten rid of the CEO and CFO once the overspending became ...more

Noble, your hate and anger should be directed against your former employers! Keep in mind that if Canexus seeks CCAA protection, your Defined Benefits Pension will be getting a lot smaller! As for who knew or did not know that this merger deal was in trouble long ago, all anyone had to do was to read the Superior Year End financials to realize that Superior was having second thoughts about how ...more
