RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Zacks says sell Cenovus...

so why china deface itself to re-negotiate an existing gas contract?

RagingBull3 wrote: LOL.... That's right, you don't need to ACTUALLY know the contract.... that way you can BS and claim your "truth".      And notice you brush aside CNOCC 51%.

So.... how did you know that LOWER LONG TERM prices already in the contract?????   Oh ya, just making BS probably.

All just my opinion/view/thinking/guessing.

ragingrabies, I DON'T NEED TO SEE THE ACTUAL CONTRACT BECAUSE:

1 . That how 95% of gas contracts are created and signed, BEFORE A DIME SPENT ON DEVELOPMENT DRILLING,  AGREED WHO PROCESS IT, HOW TO TRANSPORT IT, WHO BUYS IT and AT WHAT PRICE, and FOR HOW LONG THE TERM OF CONTRACT.   For Offshore drilling, i would say 100% of gas contract is signed this way because the risk capital is just too huge to left for chance.

2. I had confirmed it with husky insider

I think china was dumb too for creating such dispute over a small gain from re-negotiation. Screwing husky also partly screwing itself (CNOOC).

RagingBull3 wrote: I haven't seen the actual agreement, I assume you haven't also, and the media reports haven't either.....

But in the END..... Just like you all say to the Preferreds.... They "Agreed" to the new contract.

Preferred voted "Yes"....   Husky Agreed to new contract.      Difference here is what would happen if Husky said NO?????    If Preferred said NO, it didn't really matter because they STILL would become part of CVE as a wholy owned subsidary.

I think Husky still had a CHOICE..... where as Preferreds, a NO still ment a YES to becoming part of CVE.

At any rate,  it seems to me the Corruption here pales in comparison to the corruption here... Just listen to Eigen337 Blow Up.....

All just my opinion/view/thinking

ragingrabies, your english comprehension is not quite good.

I repeat "Why would husky invite a re-negotiation when original contract that already covers long term pricing for a new lower pricing? "   I never said husky want to open up a new long term contract. I said the opposite.

IN FACT, A GAS CONTRACT WAS IN PLACE BEFORE THE LIWAN GAS FIELD WAS DEVELOPED.  If china not buying the gas, or gas is not negotiated beforehand, Husky would not spent a dime on liwan gas field. Are you this stupid to know how a gas field is developed?

Answer: yes, you are that stupidly dumb about oil and gas business

you are too dumb to understand asian and american gas market are 2 different things.

you are too dumb to know that CNOOC owns 51%. China do like buy their own gas.

You the moron hypocrite raging nonstop about not getting the HSE preferred price but if china break a contract, it's ok.

You see, the reason i reply to you not to educate you but to educate other posters here how dumba$$ you are.

RagingBull3 wrote: Oh now you are saying that  NEW LOWER longterm pricing was Always in the contract.   LOL.

Who is Husking going to sell the gas to???? to Canada at 8 times the discount??!!!! LOL

Meanwhile, we have NEGATIVE PRICES here,  $45 discount.....  and these hypocrites will claim everything is "FAIR".... nothing wrong, that's the market.... LOL   F-ing Hypocrite morons.

All just my opinion/view/thinking.

Once again the ragingrabies make up sh!t story to defend china.

China DID cheated husky and force husky to re-negotiate the Liwan gas contract.  The gas contract covers gas prices before and after payout.  Why would husky invite a re-negotiation when original contract that already covers long term pricing for a new lower pricing? Ragingrabies can't even make up a story that is plausible nor even check old news article.

Calling other hypocrites thinking no one knew about the deal show you how contempt and low life you are.

China didn't super low ball Husky because china still want husky's capital and know how to develop and explore Liwan gas field.  China can cheat better by using other people's money for risky exploration so they don't really want to piss off husky too much. Therefore, the gas price reduction is not as bad as many analysts thought.

It was a dispute

China had never stuck to any international agreement, NEVER.  They had and will always break a signed agreement.  The stronger china gets, the more ways and incentive to do what they want regardless what agreement signed. Just ask ANY foreign companies who have operated inside china, be it Apples, GM, PetroCanada.  Tesla, will find out soon enough as china is staying quiet and stealing tesla's technology for now.

I'm guessing there's more to the "contract" story..... Especially given how our Propoganda to China is.    Just look at how we treat our own shareholdes (Preferreds) and how things are said.

This "contract" that was "renegotiated" was probably a contract that was coming due and then was renegotiated for a LONG TERM contract at lower prices.....lower prices but still HIGHLY PROFITABLE.

YET ANOTHER MISLEADING statement I'm guessing....   I'm guessing This "Contract" everyone is mentioning that Husky got Cheated out of....... Lot's of details left out.... I'm guessing this contract was to expire in a couple year and Husky renegotiated a LONG TERM contract at a lower price.

It that being "CHEATED"????

All just my opinion/view/thinking/guessing.
