Calibre Mining Corp. is a Canadian mid-tier gold producer. The Company has a pipeline of development and exploration opportunities across Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada, Nevada and Washington in the United States, and Nicaragua. It owns several operational open-pit and underground mines, two milling facilities (the El Limon and La Libertad mines), and a portfolio of exploration and development opportunities in Nicaragua, Central America. I'm not sure how I feel about the decision to drill such large step out holes. From BTOs point of view it makes sense, they want better knowledge of the gold deposits throughout the property, and with them being the operators they can make the decision to make big step outs without it affecting their sp in any negative way. 

 

CXB obviously had little choice in the matter, but you can be sure that if they were the operator they would have made different decisions.

 

That being said, I'm sure we were all looking for hole 11, and its the one whole they were not able to complete. Perhaps they just could not do it for a variety of reasons(they say weather), perhaps it was not their priority, or perhaps its a well thought out plan...

 

Either way, it lost me money, but gave me the chance to purchase shares at a lower price, which may, depending on the results we will undoubtably see in the coming weeks, prove to be benneficial.
