RE: Northern Miner: Alder revisits the Rosita proj I've spent a decent amount of time in the country, and the alluvial operations going on up there are quite successful, even more so considering how un-advanced their techniques are.
I have literally seen guys scoop mercury out from a bucket with their hands to wash with. It is very crude and some of these little operations are pulling out an oz a day.
Lots of gold left in the country, the spanish didn't take it all. Its countries like Nicaragua, which had been off limits for so long due to their political instability which may be the new fronteirs. My reasoning anyways...
