Good deal today.......

I like this deal....50k should be aprox 35m profit uplift added on. That along with our coin can advance the properties.... turn a lot of drills plus finance on better terms AND buy bac shares. All at the same time.....a lot of upside! Lookin forward to the next quarter.....was a buyer today.

I think so , too. Producing mine, in a safer jurisdiction, no debt, Golden Eagle eploration prospects. 50K oz production , approx 3x less than CXB, hence 3:1 shares ratio seems reasonable. Calibre shares dropped (as it frequently happens to buyer's SP) because of the premium/price difference. Added some today, too. I think it's a very positive development. GLTA

Why did they pay a 44% premium. That's what sunk caliber share price. Same thing happened to fortuna. They paid a huge premium to buy roxgold. Their share price collapsed 40,% and never recovered. It's not what you own it's what you pay for it. Spend ur money foolishly and down you go

Now if the Rio tinto results don't come back good which I suspect ...more

stockmyster, You could "skim" a dime of cash per share off of this deal at present time swapping into Fiore shares,  considering the share price of Fiore is more or less mirroring Calibre's. Basically a one for one (0.994) share swap with a $0.10 cash bonus ... if you are so inclined.... and you'll get all your Calibre shares back when the deal is accepted by shareholders ...more

I took advantage of the fall yesterday to buy 10,000 shares at a price of 1.53. In this kind of transaction there is a 90% chance that the price will drop for the buyer. I did the same for FVI and bought 5000 shares at the ridiculous price of 4.96. Today FVI shares are $6.24. Never forget the cost of building a mine, the time it takes to build and obtain permits and country regulations. For me CXB ...more
