To be fair though, I think the current price is below the dog's breakfast. You're right in that they have money in the bank so if nothing else, this could be a great opportunity for them to buy other companies for much cheaper valuations given the recent declines in the market. I think the diversification from the AMCO deal is the key here as they're highly exposed to the US market currently and more prone to political noise as a result. At $500 million USD cash, they can definately look for better opportunities if the deal falls through. My only concern is that the stock is relatively thinly traded on days and is held by insitutional investors / individuals and or companies from past acqusitions. If the deal doesn't go through, it'll put that much more pressure on the stock from current levels (completely unjustified but it will). So the short-term might be lower if the deal falls through but the long-term is still amazing! I can't wait for the investor call in mid-November. That's when the real good stuff will come out.
