RE:RE:April Options Expiry Danwesker,  Here's what happens to me today because of options expiry...  I bought some April $25 puts in early March.  I did this to protect my portfolio if there was a large move down.  (I didn't want to get slammed if SP got killed)  However I really didn't this these option would really be in play.  Just like when you buy insurance you almost never use it.  So I will be selling stock at $25 dollars to a counterparty and will want to buy it back  on Monday.  Or I'll cover close to close today.  It's a rather modest amount so I'm not worried but there are people  who have larger  positions and will need to cover.   This makes for some different moves in SP just based on people  being forced into different positions.
