RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Concordia US drug prices increase 58.8% The SP is falling because of :
-Short interest
-Bad media coverage
-Lack of communication from company to ease fears, thus;
-Selling from retails investors increases
-Institutions selling losing stocks to make their quarter ''look'' better
What private equity with enough experience globally ?
- Blackstone is one I can think of, and as it happens they are in talks. If they're not satisfied with the current management, nothing would prevent them from hiring better people to run it ( once privatized I mean ). Again, long-term.
International sales are a bad thing now, according to you ? Then why on Earth are so many companies looking to expand on that scale ? They too, are subject to differences in FX. What matters are sales, and you get more of those by being in world markets, don't you ? There are a bunch of other meds that will come out too. Again, increasing SALES.
The differences in FX, since that seems to scare the **** out of you, won't be so big as to be detrimental to the company. Nobody stops buying their medication, wherever they are, because FX disadvantages them.
Price increases ?I agree that what we've seen lately is discugsting ( Turing, Valeant ). However, they're part of every company's marketing. Do you believe that CXR will be targeted because of what the FT article said ? Even if they did increase it 14x, it still pales in comparison to others. Contrast and perspective please.
