AMCO Drug Prices
I suspect the fear of drug price caps on generics in the U.K. is being blown out of proportion.....1) I think the British government has enough on their plate with Brexit (which I anticipate will be a long process), and it's unlikely that passing legislation on price caps on generic drugs will be a priority for the government in the foreseeable future.......2) Though AMCO is now a CXR subsidiary, it is a company based in Britain, and I don't think the government is interested in making life tougher for companies operating in Britain - in fact, they are likely worried that companies will flee the country and set up shop in other EU member countries (especially true with financial services companies)........This idea that the British government is salivating at the mouth to cap generic drug prices does not seem to be based in reality - I'll believe it when legislation is put before parliament for a vote.......
