RE:Short interest on Concordia: Watch CXRX!

RE:Short interest on Concordia: Watch CXRX!Your data isn't right. The float is 39,235,800 shares and there are 11,968,500 shares shorted as of 2016/06/30. 11,968,500/39,235,800 gives you 30.50% of float shorted as of the previous date. The next short report for 2016/07/15 will be out on 2016/07/26.

Average volume on CXRX is less than 400K per day.  That will be the indicator.  On a stock like this, I wish I could watch this during the day but I'll try to check every evening.  If there is no volume, the short sellers will continue to bleed it.

I'm following this more from a short attack, private equity take-over and professional basher learning perspective than a true investment. From an investment perspective, the whole drug markup and AMCo thing is a tad nasty. So you really have to turn a blind eye on that perspective. The private equity games here are also nasty.

I'll try to get on board when the US short sellers start to cover on CXRX. August 12th will be very telling but that's a long haul to that point with no volume. Seems that some are starting to cover but I don't think it's the guys controlling this that are covering, they are trying to sink this as much as they can.

I'd watch CXRX (not CXR) on this.  Same as Valeant.  It's US controlled.

Disclaimer: I'm an investor that tries to understand the traders, scammers, private equity, hedge fund, short seller games.  The general investment public is ill equipped for this in general.
