Good long term prospect

Good long term prospectI don't check my investment account every day. A bit surprised to see my CXR holding dropped by ~20% today (I bought it after Brexit) . Tried to find some explanation, but could not find anything from the company's website, until I stumbled onto this forum. Very interesting debates between the shorts and longs. I thought I should share my two cents.

I am a physician. I prescribe lots of generic drugs on a daily bases, because they are affordable and proven to be effective and safe for many decades. Although there are newer ulternatives that are more efficacious and/or convenient, lots of patients still don't have insurance coverage and could not afford the newer/sexier ulternatives.

With aging population and continued increase in global population, the demand for medications will increase. The baby boomer, born between 1946 to 1964, is the largest cohode in the Western world. As they enter their 70s and 80s, they will take more medications. Eltroxin for hypothyroidism, digoxin and furosimide for congestive heart failure, warfarin for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation, morphine, fentanyl, ibuprofen, and acetaminophen for aches and pains, just to name a few. The medications proven effective to treat many common conditions in our parents and grandparents, should also be good enough for us when we get older.
